About the Role

BeaconFire is seeking a talented Java/Software Developer to join their growing team. In this role, the developer will work on building scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions using Java, React.js, Angular, and other modern technologies. Responsibilities

  • Develop software and web applications using Java 8/J2EE/Java EE, React.js, Angular2+, SQL, Spring, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code to power client platforms.
  • Create, deploy, and maintain automated system tests to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with testers to resolve defects and improve product functionality.
  • Continuously improve software by investigating new technologies and presenting them for architectural review.
  • Work with team members to achieve sprint goals and user story completion.

Required Skills

  • Experience with programming languages like JavaScript or similar (e.g., Java, Python, C, C++, C#).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and common data structures such as Collections, Maps, Lists, and Sets.
  • Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and basic SQL query skills.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 0-1 year of practical experience in Java coding.
  • Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Maven, Angular, HTML, CSS.
  • Familiarity with other Java technologies like Weblogic, RabbitMQ, Tomcat, JSP, J2EE, and JDBC.
  • Knowledge of containerization and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
