About the Role
The Software Developer will play a pivotal role as both a subject matter expert and technical leader. This position involves working directly with client stakeholders, influencing strategic direction, and delivering innovative, business-driven technology solutions. The role is fully remote but requires working U.S. Eastern or Central Time hours. Only U.S.-based candidates are considered.
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and provide thought leadership within the technology space.
- Mentor and train peers as well as client teams, sharing expertise in best practices.
- Design and deliver greenfield technology solutions with measurable business ROI.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proactively identify challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Apply Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, TDD, and test automation principles to software development.
- Explore emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, Cloud, and IoT.
- Foster collaboration across teams and maintain strong client relationships.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of full-stack enterprise Java development experience.
- Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript frameworks, Angular, React, and version control systems.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Bootstrap, and build tools such as Gradle or Maven.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including professionalism, accountability, and teamwork mindset.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Ability to successfully complete Callibrity’s CoderPad and Code Pairing challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Kafka, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Cloud expertise with AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Background in consulting and complex enterprise-level IT projects.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and career growth.
