About the Product Localization Engineering Team
Our Product Localization Engineering team is dedicated to delivering the technology that enables seamless translation and cultural adaptation of the entire Netflix experience. This includes localized user interfaces, promotional content, and metadata for all our titles. We aim to make Netflix feel intuitive and immersive for members, regardless of language or region.
Who We’re Looking For

You have experience developing scalable, resilient microservices for production environments.

You’re proficient in designing and building APIs (gRPC, GraphQL, REST) using object-oriented languages like Java or C#.

You bring strong front-end skills with HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS, and you’re comfortable working with frameworks like React and GraphQL.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation model consisting entirely of a customizable annual salary and stock options—no bonuses. Your compensation is tailored based on your role, experience, and skills, ranging from $170,000 to $720,000 annually.
Netflix also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including health plans, mental health support, 401(k) with matching, stock options, disability insurance, health savings/flexible spending accounts, family planning benefits, life insurance, and paid leave programs. Salaried employees enjoy flexible time off from day one, while full-time hourly workers earn 35 days annually for PTO.
