We are currently seeking a Junior Java Developer to join our remote team in the United States.

Position Overview

As a Junior Applications Developer, you’ll support the full software development lifecycle—including requirements analysis, technical design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance. You’ll be engaged in application and data architecture design, participate in technology planning, and ensure project deliverables meet business goals.

This role involves contributing to project planning, integrating new technologies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support application development, integration, and ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and solution development.

• Apply your knowledge of information systems and internal systems to real-world solutions.

• Assist in the design and development of application solutions.

• Stay informed on emerging technologies and support their adoption.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to planning resolutions.

• Engage in technical writing and documentation.

• Perform system and requirements analysis to identify project needs.

• Help define and develop technical specifications.

• Design, code, test, and document moderately to highly complex applications.

• Maintain and update application documentation.

• Create and manage integration builds.

• Monitor and support systems for performance and reliability.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience with Java

• Proficiency in C

• Experience with Python

Compensation and Benefits

NTT DATA provides a competitive compensation package in compliance with legal requirements. The base salary range for this remote position is $68,076 – $141,826, varying based on location, experience, skills, and qualifications.
