Senior Java Developer

About the Role

Keylane is hiring a skilled and detail-focused Senior Java Developer to join our Master Data team within the Development and Maintenance department. This team works on Plexus, our core back-office product used by clients in Denmark and the Netherlands.

Our goal is to deliver a uniform and consistent solution for multiple clients across different countries.

Your main tasks will include:

• Taking part in scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Designing, analyzing, and implementing new feature solutions.

• Detecting and fixing bugs.

About the Team

The Master Data team handles the development and improvement of:

• Legal Party: managing connections, future updates, and compliance with privacy laws.

• Employment: focusing on multi-channel capabilities, quality, and performance.

• Migration: enabling clients to migrate pension administrations into Plexus.

You’ll work in a diverse, skilled team spread between the Netherlands and India, consisting of business analysts, developers, and testers collaborating to deliver top-quality software.

We follow agile principles, involving the team throughout the development process, from planning to deployment.

There are opportunities to travel to Copenhagen or India for those interested.

Technical skills:

• Has strong Java experience and enjoys working on complex systems.

• Is comfortable handling large-scale financial transactions.

• Is familiar with our tech stack: Java, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Git, Hibernate, Gradle, and MSSQL.

• Understands UML for data modeling.

• Regularly writes and executes unit, system, and integration tests.

• Can analyze complex technical challenges and implement effective solutions.

Leadership & Innovation:

• Inspires and drives innovation, encourages new ideas, and pursues improvements.

• Offers suggestions to Architects for optimizing engineering processes.

• Works independently, delegates tasks, and prioritizes work across various domains.

• Actively gives feedback to peers, managers, and architects.

• Acts as a mentor, sharing knowledge and advice.

• Values teamwork, engagement, and collaboration.

• Enjoys agile practices and tools.

• Is fluent in English.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference checks are part of the hiring process.

All employees must complete information security training and adhere to basic security responsibilities.

What Keylane Offers

• Monthly gross salary between €4,200 and €5,900 (based on 40 hours/week).
