About the Role
A Senior Java Developer at Emergn plays a key part in building innovative solutions and contributing to the company’s continued success and growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy applications using Java.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, architecture, and delivery schedules.
- Review code and uphold high standards in coding practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance and scalability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in Java development.
- Strong background working with WebLogic and JWT OAuth 2.
- Experience using Oracle DB.
- Fluency in Latvian (spoken and written), and Latvian citizenship required.
Additional skills that would be a plus
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React.js, or Vue.js.
- Experience with PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with public sector projects.
- Hands-on with GitLab and GitLab pipelines.
- Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (YAML).
- Familiarity with containerization tools (Kubernetes).
- Experience working with microservices.
