Compensation:

• B2B: 21,000 – 28,000 PLN net/month

• Employment Contract: 18,500 – 24,000 PLN gross/month

The Role

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer to join one of our key product teams. You’ll work on a vital microservices-based orchestration engine responsible for fund reconciliation, payouts, refunds, and more. You’ll collaborate with experienced engineers and build the platform from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop backend applications using Java (latest versions), Spring Boot 3.x, and PostgreSQL.

• Collaborate in technical design discussions and gather requirements.

• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code aligned with best practices.

• Leverage object-oriented programming, relational databases, and modern frameworks.

• Contribute to a scalable, high-availability containerized system.

• Perform testing and maintain application performance.

• Suggest improvements to current solutions.

• Effectively manage your time and communicate project progress.

• Maintain up-to-date documentation and stay informed about tech trends.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of backend development experience in Java.

• Deep knowledge of the Spring Boot ecosystem.

• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles.

• Experience building and maintaining microservices.

• Familiarity with CI/CD environments.

• Practical experience working with PostgreSQL.

• Strong communication skills in English and Polish.

• AWS experience is a plus.

• Prior exposure to Fintech or banking systems is a strong advantage.
